About the Author

ALIN ALEX CALUGARU (born Calugaru Alin Alexandru) was born on November 22, 1978, in Târgu Jiu, Romania.

His life has been shaped by travel, curiosity, imagination, and an enduring fascination with people and the world around him.

Having traveled throughout Europe and visited several countries in Asia, he has encountered different cultures, traditions, ways of thinking, and extraordinary people from many walks of life.

Every journey brought new experiences. Every encounter offered another perspective on human nature, ambition, love, humor, and the extraordinary complexity of everyday life.

These experiences became part of his creative inspiration.

For Alin Alex Calugaru, imagination has no geographical borders, and a story should never be limited by what already exists.

His literary universe ranges from romance and comedy to science fiction, psychological exploration, and ambitious technological concepts.

In works such as UTCN and OVERPARK, his imagination ventures into ideas and large-scale projects whose fictional ambitions can reach hundreds of millions of euros.

Yet beyond the scale of these concepts, his writing remains deeply connected to human experience: the people we meet, the decisions we make, the dreams we pursue, and the unexpected ways life changes us.

Today, Alin Alex Calugaru continues to develop an expanding collection of novels for an international audience, driven by the belief that the most extraordinary stories often begin with a simple question:
